Children In Rentals Are Exposed To More Safety Risks
Are our rental properties unsafe for our children to live in?
A new study conducted by Auckland University has shown that children living in rental homes are more exposed to safety risks than those families who own their own home.
The article goes onto say, rental homes had significantly fewer safety features then family owned homes. Such hazards or risks to children’s safety included storing poisonous substances safely, locked doors or gates and covering electrical outlets.
